Your questions about what are beanie babies worth

Beanie Baby question?
I know most beanie babies are worthless, but I just found two of my old ones and am trying to find out how much their worth:
-one of them is called Valentina, it’s from ’98.
-the other is the Princess Diana beanie baby that’s purple with a flower in the top right corner.
-both have all tags, and the ty tags are in plastic
-neither have holes, smell bad, or have even been played with.
does anybody know what they’re ballpark value is, or an appraiser who could help?

There is a Ty Beanie Baby Collectors book out with the “value” of each beanie listed. But, in reality they are only worth what someone will pay for them.
Also, the more rare an item (the less of them there are) the more the supposed value goes up for people looking to complete a collection.
And I can also tell you that while your beanies are older, they are not rare – they were not too hard to get when they were produced. There are quite a few that are a lot older and therefore rarer – but again only worth what someone will pay.
The best way to find out what their “market value” is would be to go to sites like ebay or other auction sites or collectible sites and see what they are going for (not necessarily what people are asking – there is a difference.)

Wondering about Beanie Baby prices?
I have 5 possibly rare beanie babies, but i’m not sure, and if they are rare i was wondering what they’re worth?
They are all in mint condition with mint 4th generation tags
-Chocolate the Moose
-Derby the Horse, course mane, white star
-Mystic the Unicorn, course mane
-Blackie the Bear
-Squealer the Pig
i also have quite a few more but i’m not sure if they’re worth more than a dollar or two.
any info would be great :]

I have derby, blackie, and Chocolate. They aren’t really rare….At the store, they are worth 3-10 dollars

i have a collection of about 175-200 beanie babies, i think that if i sold them i could get alot of money for them but would anyone happen to know how much they are all worth?

Beanie Baby super rare mistake?
I bought about 30 beanie babies from an estate sale, and have been going through them to figure out what each one is worth. I found a lot of articles saying the factory defects are worth more and I have a couple with mispelled or misworded poems in there heart tags, and I saw articles on those but I have a Pelican Beanie with tush tag that says “Bucky” when I did a search for his worth it pulled up beavers… I looked at his heart tag and it says “Scoops” He is in good condition and there are no signs anyone has tampered with him, but I have searched all over and cannot find others like it. I want to put it on Ebay in a couple days, but wondered how much it might be worth or what I should try and get for it.
Has anyone heard of or seen this mistagged Beanie anywhere else???

go to an actual collector’s store and get an appraisal or estimate, if you try to sell it on ebay you’ll miss out on good money.
also, it’s probably not worth that much anyway, but you might as well look into it.

Parents! question about toy prices?
what are some of the most ridiculous prices for toys that you’ve either bought for your kids or been asked for. mainly in terms of like the tickle me Elmo that was so expensive when no one had them and like Beanie Babies that are currently worth jack squat but I remember some of those things being thousands of dollars

Not a parent but I remember being 8 years old and seeing two women get in a fist fight over Cabbage Patch dolls the first Christmas they were out. The two were taken outside by the police and another person bought the doll. I remember I wanted one but after seeing that I told my mom to get me something else. It was 3 years before I got a cabbage patch doll.
