can i push the flash down when it is on?
No, it stays up until you switch it off again, but you can switch the flash off when in the raised position, but you can’t stop it from sticking up when switched on!

Yes, you can push the flash down with your finger when its up. I actually like this function since I can decide if I want flash or not by simply pressing the flash down, its faster than ging through the menu. I was playing around with one at Costco and was impresed. The only think I could not find was the color swap function. Going back tomorrow to play with it a little more. Its only 319.
